Breast Cancer Awareness (dedicated to April)

I am dedicating this post to my sister who is 3-years cancer free!!!

My sister April found a lump in her breast and had it checked out immediately...unfortunately it was definitely what we didn't want it to be. Luckily it was in the early stages,  she had a double Mastectomy to make sure she got it all and it had not spread to her lymph nodes.

April went through so much...Chemotherapy, losing her hair, losing her breasts, and the emotional ups and downs of the whole situation. It has been a roller coaster and I am just so happy that she is still here with us and cancer free.
Since this she has had another baby in which we were both pregnant together and have beautiful baby boys that are 1-years old already.

She was very proactive and did her checks monthly....this is why she found it so early and was able to take care of it quickly.

Please check yourself regularly and if you feel anything odd, get it checked ASAP.
