Splash of Decor

Ok, so I never pull over and take someone's trash but I saw potential in this solid sturdy chair sitting at someone's trash. Would you have taken it if you saw this in your mind? :)

I just painted my kitchen and dining area from being a sage and brown to a blueish gray and I just love it. I've got to finish the living room connecting wall with a gray to separate the colors

This is so gross but we have had fruit flies really bad...as I was moving my plants around to decorate for fall on the front porch I found the source of all gnats being let in every time the front door was opened...it was crazy how many gnats were living in my Flowers, my husband went to the local hardware store a few years back and found these traps so he went back again to help rid our problem and it has worked so well so I thought I'd share. It's just a vinegar water so you can obviously make it at home but I like the container instead of having a cup sitting on my counter all summer. Here's a few pics so you can see how much it really works. Grosses me out.....

I am having so much fun fall decorating....I will be attending the craft fairs in the next few weekends so I will have more to post but I thought I'd share some now...

This is a different type of post but I wanted to share..... Both my boys have had cradle cap and my youngest has had it really bad, I asked my Dr. And she told me to use Selson Blue but I remembered seeing something in the baby section at Walmart for cradle cap, I'm always hesitant to buy stuff like this since it seems like just a way for a company to make money but I went ahead since Konners cradle cap has gotten really bad. This lotion comes with a scrubby brush so I massaged and brushed this into Konners hair and left it in for about an hour and then came back and brushed and brushed in circular motion and then kind of tilted the brush to the side and brushed all the scabs (sounds gross) forward. I then have him a bath washed his hair and used the same brush with shampoo in his hair and the cradle cap is literally all gone. I wish I would have done this sooner! I love this stuff and would recommend it for sure. :).

I love hosting parties obviously...Thanksgiving is more of the formal dinner to host and I love serve-ware by Princess House to show off my meals and hors d'oeuvres , my mom sells Princess House so of course I have tons of it but I've also hosted a few parties to earn my dishes, serve-ware, cook-ware and etc. For the Fall season and upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday here are a few pics of some dishes I think are gorgeous!!! www.princesshouse.com/nsieckmann
